Like this a lot, best of the entries. The colours have a nice feel, the idea is inspiring... The subtle background stuff is great, too.

I do have some suggestions though :)

I'd change the website font to be the same or similar to the inkscape-text. For so little amount of text, I think three different typefaces is a bit much. Also the logo and the text (maybe excluding the tagline "draw freely") could do without the drop shadow.

Just my opinions, great work anyhow!

Thank you very much! You're right about the typfaces. But now that the contest is over I won't work on this one any more...
But download the SVG file and change it yourself if you want to! Everybody is free to do so and to play with it. :)
Thanks again!

Note: I would also use the offset filter for the shadows now... I didn't know it when i was doing this :).

you may also have to outline the fonts, i don't have them on my system, so show as Helvetica I think.
